Searching the Blogosphere

Some times I want to know what the world thinks (google), some times I want to know what I think (my weblog), some times I want to know what those I respect think (blogs I read).

Micah Alpern has made a way to search your personal blog-pool, using Google Soap API, PHP and the OPML file from a RSS news aggregator. Looks very interesting, though I'm not sure how this OPML thing actually would work if you're not using the Radio Userland aggregator.

Update:
John Gotze has a bit more. Non-RadioUserland users can get the OPML-feed from Blogrolling.
